Certifying Excellence:
Records Management Transformation for a National Energy Company

Faced with evolving regulatory requirements, a major energy organization in Oman partnered with Transformation Pioneers to achieve compliance with the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA). The goal: to develop a comprehensive, standards-based records management framework that spanned both technical and non-technical functions.

Key deliverables included:

• A comprehensive Records Management Manual based on national requirements,
• Tailored Policies, Specifications, Procedures, and Guidelines,
• A Functional Classification Scheme mapped to the organization’s structure,
• Active facilitation with NRAA to secure compliance and necessary certification.

Over 76 working sessions were held across departments to ensure full alignment and ownership of the final frameworks.

The project resulted in a fully certified, user-friendly records management system that ensures regulatory compliance, internal clarity, and long-term operational sustainability.
