ERP Functional Consultant (Odoo)

Role Overview:

As an ERP Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in understanding client requirements, designing efficient ERP-based solutions, configuring and implementing ERP modules, and providing end-user training, UAT and support. This role is ideal for candidates with deep knowledge of ERP and experience managing and delivering complex ERP projects across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

· Gather and analyze business requirements, propose ERP solutions, and configure modules to meet client needs.

· Design, implement, and customize various ERP modules, including but not limited to HRMS, Accounting, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Sales, Project Management, and more.

· Collaborate with technical and development teams to manage integration requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, databases, and external APIs.

· Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions for client users, focusing on system functionality, best practices, and efficient utilization of ERP solutions.

· Develop and manage a technical task list or backlog to ensure clear scope, priorities, and team responsibilities, utilizing Agile methodologies.

· Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including: BRD, SRS, FSD, FRD, RTM, user guides, and training materials.

· Assist with post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution, working closely with the client to maintain system effectiveness and satisfaction.

· Collaborate with technical teams for custom development and advanced configurations.

· Perform functional testing to ensure the system meets quality standards.

· Stay updated on new ERP releases and features to continually improve existing solutions and propose enhancements.

· Manage ERP version migration and upgrade processes as needed.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5-7 years of experience as an ERP Functional Consultant or in a similar role, with proven experience delivering multiple ERP projects.

· Strong expertise in business analysis, requirements gathering, and translating complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications.

· Proficiency in preparing and managing technical and functional documentation, including BRD, SRS, FSD, FRD, RTM, and other project-critical documents.

· Excellent communication and client management skills with a proven track record in client-facing roles.

· Experience with integration requirements, including third-party system integration and API management.

· Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications.

· Skilled in training end-users and creating instructional documentation.

· Certification in ERP Functional (preferred).

· Arabic and English proficiency.
